So recently, I had gotten a cage for $100, used. It's very alike to a Ferret Nation. The 4 doors open in the front, but the whole cage flooring is mesh. So I had to get creative and ended up getting laminate tiles to fit the flooring of the cage Both top and bottom. It's not complete yet as I didn't buy enough of them but it totally makes it look like a fancy condo . On the top floor they have there Pokemon hammock, a cat tunnel, fleece and blankets, toys, water and food. On the bottom floor, is there litter box, hanging tube, fluffy cat bed, and more toys!! Ignore the poopy litter box... They decide to poop all over the place if I clean it out daily... so I leave it so they get the idea of "THIS IS WHERE YOU POO."

I found it...it's called a "Marshall Ferret Estate"! reviews.petco.com/3554/113155/marshall-marshall-ferret-estate-ferret-cage-reviews/reviews.htmLooks like it has been discontinued, but seems like a solid cage. You did a great thing by putting the vinyl tiles in there for solid flooring that is easy to clean. I would also cover the shelves with something (even fleece covers would be good) and get some ramp covers or put thick knee socks on those to protect little feeties. They have plenty of room to romp and play in there and it looks sturdy and secure. Great find!

I plan on putting fleece on the ramp and more of the vinyl tiles on the 2 shelves

www.petsupplies.com/item/shelf-for-ferret-and-critter-nation/650387/ this is new shelf. My baby got her foot stuck in the shelf of the 141. and had i not been home she would have broke it. I heard her screaming in the bedroom. Make sure those tiles can not slide on your shelf. I was trying to find my old pic on forum of where she got it caught to show u, but cant find it. On ur shelf where the red ring is hanging there was a gap between shelving . You can put some mens/womens cotton socks on those ramps will send a pic what i did

Ok good to know. And no they do not move around. They're stick on, almost like stickers. So even if they did ever move, they can't get hurt because it's very light of a material. They only have one ramp in the cage, the one that leads to the top floor, the other two they jump onto it and climb up, even when the ramps are there they don't use them. But good to know. I'll try covering the ramp tonight with fleece.

not pretty but works lol. This is two socks each are going in opposite directions, so the top sock will not fall down and the bottom metal also stays covered. Of course, you got to poke holes in socks for the hanging part of ramp.

Tiles are a great idea. I haven't seen that cage "in the wild," lol, but you could measure it and see if the FN floor pans would fit. NOw that you're almost done

I was thinking about it Only issue is that it's a bit more expensive then the tiles, the tiles are .62 cents for 12" by 12". So I might just finish everything up with that

My top floor of ferret nation has plywood. I do not like how the floor pans slide around and expose the grated floor. getting rid of all ramps and shelves for more room. going to let ferrets access bottom floor by way of outside tubing.
What do u cut vinyl tiles with---boxcutter ? or r they wood tiles?

My baby got foot caught underneath that plastic and metal shelf frame--It really seems impossible. I had to bow up that plastic to get her foot out

-no longer use this shelf, but floor pans move around Makes me wonder if you don't have some sort of weird, aftermarket floor trays. Mine have no room to spare.
