Thank you *3* I was able to find an owner for the bunny today, I'll drive her over to the girl's place. She has a garden and prober cages and stuff. I'm so happy because it can take many weeks until I find someone who will adopt animals I'm caring for

They just knocked on my door and there was a bunny. I quickly put it in a cage so she wouldn't get lost. So, she was pretty much abandoned My neighbour said he saw a guy leave the bunny there and run. So we will try to track him down and see if we can tell the authorities about this.

Oh wow ;n; I wonder why he would just dump it for...I hope you're able to track him down. Its really not fair on the poor animal to simply be dumped like that. ;n; But its still a fantastic thing that it now has a future home ;u;

Apparently someone knows you as an animal lover and keeper of small pets. Within the first year of having ferrets I was offered 3 pairs.

Oh! we have lots of those. Someone let loose a few dozons of this tortoise some decades ago and now live in the island like our local tortoise does. They seem to get along well and share their territories with no conflicts. They are both protected, so its illegal to have any of the two species at home unless she just walked into your back yard, of course (giggle)

Poor little thing. I don't want to assume you do or don't know so just going to say it. Are you sure this little one hasn't got scurvy? And what are you feeding him?
I guess the vets would have ruled that out and have taking scrapings and seen the mites, but he will need plenty of vitamin C to recover anyway.
Good luck and I hope he makes a quick recovery.

Yeah Vitamin C can be quite unstable, I always gave mine plenty of fresh veg, fruit and grass. I even used to grow grass inside during winter so they still had a fresh supply.
