Just give her the tip right now. Hold it and her and gently scruff. Often when their scruff is pinched they'll either lick or take what is directly in front of their mouths. You don't want her to just take it from you and run off, so hold it and when she tries to take it, play a sort of tug of war...gently. She should get the idea.

So I put all three in her bowl and she eats them willingly by her self she just cant get through the bone. She eats all the meat off for the most part. Also she just had a poop which I assume is cgh it was pretty solid a little mucousy but not bad just solod with some mucous on it.

I am trying chicken hearts in my soup so 8 oz of beef 1 oz of beef liver and 1 oz of chicken hearts. I am going to see how she does with this mixture. Her poops are great with cornish game hen hence why I am trying chicken again.

I'm sorry.. internet issues again. (headwall)
Shelby is going to have to build up some jaw strength. For now, use some kitchen shears and cut the CGH bones lengthwise. It's hard, but it can be done. Just don't cut yourself! The bones are really small and it's easy to slip off of them with the scissors. Once Shelby discovers the yummy marrow inside, she'll be more likely to work harder to get to it.
Her poops sound like they're fine. How did she do with the chicken heart in her soup? I really want to get her off the soup, so freeze what you made and only use it if we need it to introduce something new. Give her another meal of CGH, either another wing (cutting the bones) or part of the rib cage. Then we'll start her on another new protein. I want to get her onto your menu quickly. Do you have all those meats already in your freezer?

Now I cut up the rest of the hen and I am going to feed her the ribs. I am going grocery shopping today so I should have all of the items on my menu. If shes okay with the chicken heart I may subsitute the beef tongue for the hearts because I have so many chicken hearts and not a lot of tongue. I have to check her litter box for her poop.

You've been cutting the bones lengthwise, not crosswise, and she still can't chew them? Chicken wings or CGH wings?
If she doesn't have any reaction to the hearts, try giving her some sliced hearts for her next meal. Cut one into slivers and see if she'll eat it on its own.

I cut it length wise and she has a header time then the wing tips. Shes getting better. Now she cant eat the thicker part of the wing on the gch so not the first two but the end part with the thivker bone. Thats giving her a hard time.
I gave her gch ribs. Two slabs of thosr and she ate all of that. Then I gave her two legs and two wings from a quail and she ate both wings and started chewing on the legs so cross your fingers.
I tried lamb as well before the quail and she just wasnt interested. I will have to try again tomorrow. I will try the heart later tonight when shes hungry. So far poops look good nice and solid!

So poops are pretty formed but soft. Pretty soft. Other than that everythings good. The good I gave her last night chopped up heart and a quail wing and and leg. She eats the tips of the legs but has a hard time eith the thicker part of the leg. So far I have her eating cgh, quail, duck, beef, and chicken heart willing with no scruff and stuff. Just need her to eat lamb.

Those drummette sections are harder to eat, so if that's all she's leaving, she's doing great! As her jaw muscles strengthen, she'll be able to crunch through those bigger bones better.
You said poops are pretty soft. Is that always or just after a non-bone meal?
She's eating a good variety of proteins. What about organs? Has she had any organ meals yet?
Lamb is one protein my kids don't particularly like. They'll leave it for hours and hours, hoping that I'll give them something different, but eventually their hunger wins and they eat it. So I don't feed lamb very often. Try cutting it into bite size and mixing it with bite sizes of something they do like.
So how do you feel about trying chicken again?

So far for the cornish game hen she is eating the whole wing. Thry started soft I think because of the heart I was giving her. I gave her one with a quail wing and like I said it was formed but soft. Yesterday she ate duck and lamb yesterday and I think her system freaked out because it was very runny and mucousy. I assumr is nonormal for new protiens. I am ready to try chicken for sure. I am hoping she can take to it okay but we will see. I will give her so chicken wing tips as a starter.

Let her system settle down from the new proteins before you give her chicken again. Otherwise you won't know if there's a problem from the chicken or if she's just still messed up from new foods. Give her something you know doesn't bother her for a couple of meals and then try a chicken wing.
