I didnt add water to the organs today so thats good. I have to make more egg shells because the ones I had got wet with the fluid from the quail when it defrosted.

Yep, babies are easy switches! I'm glad their poops have improved. Are you ready to graduate or do you want to give it a little more time?

I do have one other question. I dont know if shelby has an intolerance for the game hen now, but I get that the poops for organs are supposed to be looser but I gave her cgh last night and her poops are not solid. Thats supposed to be a bone in meal. I feel like its not working with her stomach because I can get solid poops on my muscle meals better than I can with cgh. The quail poops look good too. Duck was good as well. I am thinking of doing quail as my main bone in meal. Unless you think other wise.

Picture of the poop? What part of the CGH did she have? Was it mostly meat, like the breast, or mostly bone like a wing? If she has a true chicken allergy, the CGH could very well cause problems also. If that is the case, you will be better off removing all chicken from her diet or possibly feeding it only once a week. That will leave you with 2 bone-in meats, right? Duck and quail? Have you tried turkey wings, frog legs, or rabbit?

Then I gave her ones with mostly meat on it. I took the chicken hearts out of her organ meal yesterday and put beef tongue in it. Typical organ meal poops. Where can I find turkey wings? I ran out of quail and I was going to go to the asian market and pick up frog legs and quail. What part of the rabbit can I feed thats bone in? I assume just the ribs correct? Gosh darn it I just cleaned the litter box. And I fed her some beef today. So if she has another one of those poops I will get a pic. They are just light brown and runny its not really unusual looking I just feel its unusual for a bone in meat. If that makes sense.

Hmm.. if she ate the wing her poops should have been fine. It sounds like both chicken and CGH should be fed minimally. How does she do with chicken organs and chicken hearts? I have found turkey wings at Publix and Kroger, but I can't always get them. Any rabbit part is fine. In the wild, they would eat the whole thing.

Well when I fed the chicken hearts thr other day she didnt have an apetite to eat and thats what worried me. She had runny poops didnt want to eat energy was still good. So I chalked it up as her tummy was just not having any of it.
Even the legs on the rabbit? Arent thry to hard?

Try the chicken hearts again whenever heart comes up on the menu. See if it's ALL chicken she's sensitive to. I don't think she's actually ALLERGIC, just has a sensitivity. If she were allergic, you would most likely see a real reaction - vomiting, extreme diarrhea, etc.
They should be able to handle rabbit legs. If the bones are too big, just smash them a little.

So you were talking about ice cubes for ferrets. Can I get some beef broth and freeze it and give it to them?

Sure! I do that on hot days when they're being lazy. It's messy but fun.

That's fine. You don't want broth with salt or seasonings. I make my own. Just toss some meat or bones in a pan of water and boil for an hour or so. Or just use the blood. I have ice cubes of turkey blood in my freezer right now. The fuzzies LOVE them.
