Starting in the morning, weigh all the food you give them, and if you throw anything out (unlikely at this point I know), weigh that too. Do that for 2-3 days. You need to have an idea of how much they eat in a 24 hour period. I will I promise.

If her activity is normal, don't worry about her. She may be full from her breakfast. She'll eat when she gets hungry.

Shes eating now. Just had thr rest of a quail leg. I guess it worried me because nala is like a land fill she just eats and eats and eats. And I forget that shelby has started to not eat as much food.

Nala is a tummy with teeth. Shelby is beginning to grow out of that phase. Also, nada has just gotten hold of 'the good stuff'. They will eat more when they first switch.

Makes sense. Shelbys poop is kinda smelly but I am not sure if it was because it was old litter or it was just a smelly poop. I have been dealing with smelly butt since I got nala. So is a smelly poop bad after eating hearts?

It is true that raw poops smell better than kibble poops, but let's face it...poop is poop. It's always going to stink. A particularly rank odor might be cause for concern if it's accompanied by very seedy poop. That could indicate a bacterial infection, but shelbys have just been watery, not seedy so I don't think that is an issue. Nala's poop is going to smell worse than Shelby's for a little while while she goes through detox.

I agree with that trust me. Not really seedy poops. Just watery and light brown then she had a funky looking poop it light brown with white in it. Like the lamb poop white. So not the first time she had a white or greyish looking poop. She ate more quail half a leg another half a leg and another piece so shes eating

She had a solid poop before I went to bed which is good. Also I think morning time is her favorite time to eat. I gave her her beef and she chowed down. And well nala ate of course shes a garbage disposal.

Shelby's poops are still watery? I can't keep track of which girl you're talking about now, lol. I don't like her still having bad poops. She's obviously not feeling bad, but her poops should have stabilized by now. I want you to start posting poop pictures and let me know what she had for the previous meal. Let's see if we can find a pattern.
How are Nala's poops looking?

Nala: poops are soft and then nice and firm then weird colors bit so far her poops look good! Especailly for only being on raw for less than a week. Shelby: her poops were watery all day yesterday till she finally ate quail last night and had a formed poop. I gave her chicken hearts. I dont know if the pattern is the hearts but next time I am probably going to do beef tongue and see if that changes it. Also I did add some water to the hearts yesterday because I was trying to get nala to eat them. Npt sure if that adds to our delima with shelby. Can I keep blending organ meals and heart/tongue meals up? It seems to get them both eating them faster than whole chunks. I just got home and thry had beef as a msucle meat this morning for breakfast all the poop was pretty soft. So what i am going to do I just fed them quail because I am out of duck I will post pics of the quail poops and then we can discuss them I did weigh the quail before I gave it to them its 1.80oz they basically ate all of it besides like two pieces. And I just gave them quail about 20 minutes ago. I am sorry I am confusing you! Sorry for slacking a little I will get back on track!

Nala's poops aren't worrisome unless they're straight water. Switching poops are all kinds of colors and textures. The water in the hearts could contribute to Shelby's runs. The more water that goes in, the more that has to come out. Making organ/heart soup is fine. Even adding the water is fine temporarily if that's what you need to do, but try to wean them away from needing it thinner. And add some eggshell or bonemeal to it. That will help firm them up.

Yeah Nalas poops look good actually. After the organs they were runny but I gave her and shelby cgh wings and they both have formed poops sobi am happy so far Nala has been the easiest switch ever.
