How are Nibbler and Pazuzu doing with their switch so far @marc? You've been given great advice, since they're kits getting them to eat usually is no big deal at all, if they're eating chunks/bone-in then we can go over balancing their menu and etc.

Pet owners gets their ferrets from Marshalls, check their ears for tatooes they will be little grey dots. One dot is a boy and two dots are a girl per Marshells of course it wouldn't be the first time they messed up either. I was told the 2 dots mean they are descented and neutered, not boy or girl. One dot would mean that they are just neutered. Did they change this sometime recently?

According to their website you're right. Now I'm wondering where I had read that, I know I have thought that to be true for a very long time! This is taken from Marshall's FAQ section Are Marshall Ferrets neutered and de-scented?
To avoid pet overpopulation and prevent health problems, every Marshall Ferret is neutered (spayed/castrated) and de-scented before being sent to authorized pet dealers. Two tattoo dots on the right ear identify that these procedures have been performed. By neutering our ferrets, problems that occur during normal mating season are avoided.

The "descenting" is simply considered a sales technique to help sell more.
