If she is not eating well you may have to do a soup and syringe feed her. Ferrets dehydrate right quick, a raw fed ferret less quickly then a kibble fed one but still pretty quick.

Yes a stash is always a possibility, how warm is it where you are? Here energy level could be greatly effected by heat also.

Ok doesn't sound like it should be the heat then. Keep a close eye one her though (I'm sure you are).

Her last few poops looked great, they were big, great form and no mucus was present. I made a stupid mistake and set a fast food soda cup on the desk when I stepped out for a couple of minutes to get something from the kitchen. When I came back the little devil already was up there and knocked it over and was lapping it up. I put her in the bathtub while I cleaned the mess, which wasn't really bad as I stash most things up.
After everything was cleaned up I rinsed her off in the shower, must of been her first time because she went nuts.
I have a spill proof glass I drink from, I'll have to leave a sticky to remind myself not to leave anything else out unattended even for a second. :/

Aww the little buggers are too smart and curious. They certainly keep us on our toes! How is she eating today? Mine go nuts in the shower too, I think they think they are chasing the water drops.

She's eating good. My new meat cleaver came in yesterday and I've been able to chop the bones up much smaller with it. She is full of energy this morning, still playing at this moment. I learned from years that this toy is always a hit favorite: smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CCW1OE?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00There are many variations but the wide and open ones like this allows them to shark around with the ball in circles. Every ferret I've had does it. lol She didn't like the shower, I've never had a ferret that wanted to be in the bathtub. They go nuts after I wrap them up in a towel though and set them down lol.

How hot is it where you are? Heat saps them of much of their energy as well. However if she has the flu she may need a vet visit for preventative antibiotics.

Feeding is coming along great. The key I found is to make sure that the food pieces are no larger than a quarter. Anything larger and she is tempted to stash it somewhere with the strong possibility of it drying up too much for her to want it later. With this new cleaver chopping bone is a sinch. I changed out her litter and decided to try "World's Best Cat Litter", but my observations shows that it is the worst digging ferret litter. Saying that Nei enjoyed her new digging box is an understatement lol

I'm glad she is doing so well with the switch, I myself seem to have a stubborn little tummy with teeth that just needs to go more slowly I guess right now, a bit different from the other three hehe. I stick to recycled paper, the flushable kind. Maybe it's all flushable I'm not sure. It this one specially says so, so I like that I can flush it and it works well. They do sometimes dig in it though when it's fresh, after they have used the box though they no longer seem to want to dig in it.

I woke up just now after a couple of hours as usual and I peeped in the box and she used it just fine without making playing in the litter. That's a relief but I'm thinking of making a dig box for her.
I'll buy one of those see-through storage bins and cut a hole on the side where a ferret tube can fit through and keep the lid on to prevent any spilling. I need to think of a good medium. I'm thinking about sand. Cleaned yet untreated sand like they use for chinchilla baths.
