Thanks! I bought a little skirt steak to slice up to start introducing slivers. Problem is, I think I have to take a step back because only 2 oz were eaten from breakfast this morning. I'm toning it down and adding back a bit more water for at least a couple days. Unless you think I should do something else of course.

Yes give it a day or two. Try to stick to the same protein for a little while right now so the change doesn't upset them and they don't reduce eating because of that. Remember to measure their foods as often possible they might have eaten a lot earlier and not been as hungry. But if we keep track of every meal we get a better picture.

Today's results so far: Breakfast - fed 89 g, 100% eaten Lunch/playtime meal - fed 143 g, 100% eaten (just watched Raisin lick the bowl clean) I will give them 150 g tonight at bedtime. Also should note that these figures include added water.

Numbers looks good! For my purposes and yours, a female ferret should eat 30-85 grams a day and males should eat 60-110 a day.
If you are going to add slivers tomorrow, I would suggest adding slivers to the playtime meal if you can, when you can watch them eat. Remember to start small and see how each one does with the slivers in the soup. If they seem to do okay, doesn't have to be great, go ahead and add them to each meal for next couple of meals.

Hey, everyone is fine! Tons of energy today, especially Porkchop. He's totally pumped up haaha. Sorry for the lack of updates - I've been sick. Just got out of urgent care. They don't know what's wrong. Luckily it's not the flu so I'm not worried about the babies getting it. I've barely had enough energy to keep up with feeding them the soup, so I haven't tried slivers yet.. :\ They are all eating really well though.

That's alright! Get better and rest. Getting them used to soup is a great start so as long as they are eating it then we are good to go. Whenever you are feeling better let me know and we will work on the next step.

On the upside, ALL of my babies are eating their soup!! I don't even have to use the spoon.

Woot! (dance) How thick is the soup?

Not nearly as thick as it was in the picture I posted a little while ago, just to get them back on track. I'm starting to limit the water. Right now I'm doing about 20g water to 150g meat, not including the bit of water I use to make the soup (about 1 cup/pound of soup blend).

Yay!!! That's awesome! I'm glad you are feeling better. Let me know how they do with the slivers.
Did you ever get them to like salmon oil?

Yeah I wouldn't use that either, fish oil is kind of up in the air and I believe the rosemary isn't the best either. Remember like with raw, we want to trick them into eating, so when you get some good stuff, mix it with an oil that they like. Also try Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Coconut Oil and see if one is a hit.
It might take a little while for them to like it, took one of my girls 4 months. She loves it now though.
