You can definitely feed the legs. They might be a little bit to eat on his own to start, but what you can do is take the cleaver and hit the legs gently so the bones inside crack a little into slightly smaller pieces. I usually cut them in 3-4 chunks. This would be a really good lesson for Freddy to start learning how to gnaw meat off larger chunks and work towards the bone If he has trouble, start him at a thinner piece of meat that is sticking out from the chunk, then he'll figure out how to work inwards from there.

I am now buying venison,it's deep frozen,but I found that they have deep frozen crocodile,kangaroo and zebra

That's awesome! I have never heard of anyone feeding zebra, but I imagine it is similar to horse. Let me know how venison goes when you introduce it. It has a stronger gamey flavour so Freddy might need to be bribed a little to try it at first

Oh yes it is, even,it seems to me that he eats more ,I am giving him the same amount of meat like before but he is hungry after 6 hours.

That's great! Ferrets do tend to eat more in the winter and get fatter, then eat less in the springtime and lose a bunch of weight. They are also often less active in the winter. Is today Venison Day?

I mixed with rabbit ,he eated rabbit chunks but not the venison, it looks that I will need to make him soup, I will make soup from venison and put rabbit chunks next time

Making a soup is a really good way to introduce new foods! Also make sure to give him lots of praise when he does eat it Have you tried any bones other than the ribs yet?

Yesterday we had first bone choking, everything went fine,he managed to get rid of the bone by himself,but I was wondering is there any procedure what to do if he can't do it on his own
