Just sayin'.
Dara had a total of 8 kits starting at 12:30 this morning. Sadly, 2 were stillborn and one was dead in the nest this morning. I haven't been able to do much other than remove the dead kit and the dirty bedding. Mama's a tad grumpy.

Okay, now I'm just getting impatient. (I do know how making babies works though and that it's not instant.)
Can we at least get some photos of the mommy-to-be and her mate?

I should have waited till things were further along as the breeding had just been accomplished that day. Dara, the hopeful momma. She's one of the Nicholai x Cricket babies you watched grow up 2 years ago. And a very poor pic of the enthusiastic future proud poppa. This is Kailen. He came home with me from Joan Clague's. Nicholai stayed there for a while in his place. Kailen is rather active and difficult to photograph. I will attempt to do better. So far, just blurs.
