jawjahpeach, u can purchase fancy mice from Petsmart . They do not overcrowd and keep tanks clean. They seem to be healthy. That's if u want to breed and can't find anyone breeding mice nearby.

:heehee: when introducing my ferrets to mice and rats, I would skin the fur off to make them more palatable. Not to be too radical from texture of frankenprey.

I was getting so discouraged thinking that buying organic or even a meat other than chicken, beef or pork was going to be out of reach budget-wise for me because of higher costs for the meats compounded with expensive shipping costs. I did a search and found an organic farm a couple of hours away. I placed a call to ask some questions but couldn't get a return phone call. I did some further digging on their website and found that they deliver to an organic buying club in my rural town. When I recovered [after falling out of my chair and hitting my head on the desk], I processed and finally accepted Yes Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus. I applied for membership. I have been accepted and am waiting for the computer to finalize the processing of my login info. Then I will be set to order. The club contacted me almost immediately to welcome me and see if I had any questions. In addition to individual purchases, they offer split purchases whereby members pool their orders to complete a supplier's minimum order requirement. I am so excited I can hardly stand it! I just hope that my login process is completed soon so that I can order before I wake up and find out that Toto, we're not in Kansas any more and that this was all just a dream.
