He'd always suck on his thumb while sleeping - poor little guy. He's 9 mo old almost and he still does that, and he has his favourite teddy bear that he grew up with, that we can't ever travel without or it turns into a tragedy I need to see a picture of this!!! Poor little babies, Gizmo and Ozzy. I'm glad they came to live with caring ferrents

The only reason for someone to tell you not to switch off of a particular type of food is for completely greedy. Any company will market that they are the best food for your animal. Just like any other animal (if you are switching from kibble to kibble) you mix them together to prevent indigestion and upset bellies. With Raw, it is just recommended to go for it. The younger you start the better. Ferrets get picky with age, so if you want to do raw, just start at it! Lovely little one, and congrats on the baby (would love to know where to get a non Marshal Ferret) Oz is a Path Valley ferret. Got him from MonsterPets.

I gave Oz a quick bath because he made a mess of his cage, (the litter is right there next to him and he chooses to poop everywhere but inside). Read more: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/17609/help-meee-new-ferret#ixzz3SxKwMLRBalthough i have never seen this before, they say mommies teach their babies to potty ----i dont know if it is by watching mom back up--or what, but he really doesn't know what litter is for--being exposed to it only for a short while probably at pet--store. He'll catch on by watching others and you putting some of is poo-pooh in litter box, so he can smell litter and pooh together-----and maybe after eating putting him in litter box for a minute. I am really sorry little thing is crying for mommy .

I Found this at www.pathvalleyfarm.com/Since Path Valley Farm, Inc.™ does not breed animals for research or fur, we are able to provide a quality pet. Ask the quality pet stores in your area to call PVF™ at (717)-349-7610, fax (717)-349-2101, or E-mail at pathvalleyfarm@gmail.com for the best in ferrets and ferret food. Guys in United States, if you want to make complaints about the how young they r selling their ferrets, here is a number. 'made my complaint --got a recording. One good thing ------ Path Valley Farm Pledges to sell No Ferrets for Research. I guess i should have commended them for that before complaining.

Hi kmr is kitten replacer milk it is a special animal formula for orphaned cats and kittens ( you can give it to ferrets its full of nutrient's and vits ) bone meal is ground up bone its calcium ( you can use ground up dried egg shells ) he will be crying because he wants his mom yes feed ground up hambuger chicken ect blend it too a slightly medium soup to begin with you wont need a lot to last him a day but you must feed him at least four to five times a day ( if you blend up a pint of soup using 60z meat that will feed him five times during a day just give him 1 tbs a time ( use a small shallow saucer expect him to get pretty dirty lol he will walk in as he eats but a wet wipe removes it )he can also have a little plain krm in a saucer any soup that is left at the end of the day you can either freeze for sick fuzzies in ice cube trays or give it too your other fuzzies as a treat lol they may even clean him off for you if you put him with them after feeding lol you can use anything in your soup mix change the meat daily this way you are imprinting him on different meats from the get go and he wont be fussy as he gets older plus different meats contain different vits and minerals poor baby must be terrified can you get hold of an old woollen sock ? if so pop a warmed rice bag into it and tie and he will cuddle round it let us know how he is doing take care bye for now bev
