Unless somebody's already figured this out... But if not, I'm a genius! First, weigh meat portions and put into jumbo silicone ice cube tray to freeze. Second, take frozen meat cube portions out and put in a bag! I'm hoping this will save me a lot of wasted baggies. As an added bonus, these cubes fit into my mini 4oz ziploc containers which I use to organize my weekly meal plans.

Looks good ! You can also get some trays and cooking sheets and place a bunch 'grid style' portioned out, freeze them.
Then once frozen place them all into baggies .

I believe I found mine in the kitchen section of London Drugs (I don't think you have in the US) but I found the same ones on amazon: www.amazon.com/Tovolo-King-Cube-Ice-Tray/dp/B00395FHROThe silicone helps because they are just so easy to pop out. ferretbrah, I would love to use a baking tray but I have a tiny apartment sized fridge which is basically a fridge on top and the world's smallest freezer on the bottom, which is mostly drawers. No baking tray would ever fit

I portion on a baking tray lined with wax paper and once frozen they go into baggies in the freezer, the baggies stay in the freezer and I just top them up, then I just take 2 days of meals out at a time and thaw in a covered glass bowl in the fridge, once thawed it's ready to go
