Yes they do, and I wouldn't even notice if I weren't a total picture fiend! Comparisons and weight days are a must haha. She still seems tiny to me, but probably only because I want her to be big enough for a harness and cute ferret clothes

Updated list of stuff she eats. She really really really loves mice. How big do they have to be to constitute a balanced meal? Right now I ration them out since they're snack sized and I don't want her to have a food favorites tantrum that throws her off her balanced menu.
She's eating a little bit less than she used to. Whether spring changes or what not sure, but about an ounce less a day. It's left over on her plates, I'm still offering her 6+ ounces a day. Playing and pooping normally so it's all good.
Chicken heart liver thighs wingettes egg
Lamb Kidney Chunks
CGH chopped
Beef Ground Chunks
Duck foot
Mice pinkies fuzzies
Pork Ground Chunks

A friend of mine with a Tegu just told me about a reptile store in Plano that has frozen mice, quail, and guinea pigs! I called to check their stock and they named a bunch of other stuff they have too. Ferrent mama is gonna make it rain there later, it's right by my daughters ballet school and she has class tonight!

Aaaand? How was the shopping? Regarding mice best is adult mice, from 3 months upwards is certainly ok for sufficient calcium levels Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

You can feed her one whole meal of mice. Just add up how much they weigh. My guys get about 6 mice a meal once every ten days. If you start feeding more whole prey, just subtract the meals you are feeding of whole prey from your total meals and use that last number to calculate Her organ and heart needs.

I've missed a lot haha (shy) Haven't gotten a chance to read thru the thread- refresh my memory- is she now on larger chunks and eating the frankenprey menu with ease? (bones, organs, muscles etc) Has she had her vet visit yet? So glad she seems to be doing well

Shopping was great! I got her 25 frozen adult mice, 2 frozen rat pups, an adult quail, and 3 live fuzzies. She loves frozen fuzzies and her favorite games are "look at me I'm a fierce huntress" sort so my husband and I had talked about getting her to try live prey. Accept alllllllll the foods is the name of our game. She did well with them, lots of carrying them around and licking but once she got down to business it was quick. No squeaking, she went for the head.
Thanks for the math Desireem81, I was wondering about that!
Jules her vet visit is this Friday, and yes she's on chunks of everything now, even beef. I still rough chop her bone meals though that may end soon. I'm seeing less and less bones thrown around her cage after her meals so I'll probably try breaking wings in half soon and seeing how she does. She's doing very well since the blockage scare! Eats like a horse and poops like a champ lol

Not sure who to tag so I'm gonna tag @poncesmom and katt to get you approved as a raw feeder. I think you will need to post a menu and answer a few questions about raw feeding but it really does seem like you have switched her over.

Woohoo that would be nice! Kat made it easy being a little one thankfully so it's not been a terrible process. Except when she eats things that she shouldn't >.<
Update on the vet front: going on Thursday afternoon now. I asked for an earlier appointment if any opened up and just got the call a few minutes ago. On a whim I asked the receptionist if he's got anything against raw feeding so I could brace myself for the meeting after her blockage scare. She was very nice about it and said no, he only points out any signs of deficiencies or illness. *whew*

So this is what I'm doing with the ingredients I currently have, I'll work on a whole prey inclusive menu. I feel kind of horrible now, last year I got hives in the spring (allergies from the depths of Hades) and now they're back. I know what to do about this time, but it's kind of miserable still.
Sun- AM: 3 ounces chicken wingette PM: 3 ounces pork chunks Mon- AM: 3 ounces CGH PM: 3 ounces chicken heart Tue- AM: 1.5 ounce lamb kidney 1.5 ounce chicken liver PM: 3 ounces chicken wingette Wed- AM: 3 ounces cubed beef PM: 3 ounces CGH Thu- AM: 3 ounces chicken wingette PM: 3 ounces CGH Fri- AM: 1.5 ounce chicken liver+ lamb kidney,1.5 ounce chicken heart PM: 3 ounces chicken wingette Sat- AM: 3 ounces ground pork/beef mixed with raw egg PM: 3 ounces CGH
She usually leaves behind a quarter to half ounce each feeding. On days without heart/organ meals I give her mouse pinkies/fuzzies between meals. I split her pm meal in half, one around 6-8pm and the other between 12 and 2am. I put a 16th tsp of eggshell powder on her heart/organ meals for poo consistency.

Your menu looks good. I'll forward it to Heather for her approval. You've done well. I have to do some appointments today, but I'll check back tomorrow.

Yay! I'm still going through the ingredients I have because I bought a ton. I'll be adding the whole prey next week, adult mice, quail, rat pups. Still doing mouse pinkies and fuzzies as afternoon snacks or with her second PM meal on non heart/organ days. Her eating has slowed a bit, I was doing 3.5 ounce servings until about 3 days ago when she was leaving enough behind to make it seem wasteful. I still like seeing that she's eating enough to leave some behind though. Whole prey menu coming up soon!
