Does anyone know if this ferretry is still in business. It is only about two hours from me however, there website seems to not be working and I cannot find a phone number for them??
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Justin

I believe it closed. Here is a link: holisticferret60.proboards.com/thread/12225I'm not familiar with any breeders in your area, but nancyl is a breeder and may know of someone. PVO Ferrets has a facebook page, she is in Ohio and may know someone. You can also check out Petfinder. It's finicky, but if you put in Ferret under Breed, some rescues and shelters will pop up, with available ferrets. They probably won't be breeder ferrets, but they need homes and someone may capture your heart.

Wasn't Quantum Leap, the breeder for Lindsey's Bear? If that's the case then no, that ferretry is no longer in business. Have you checked the AFA listings? I know that doesn't list all the breeders, I know a few good ones who aren't listed ciao

I am in the very southeast of kansas I am insearch of intact/ breeder ferrets or polecats, polecat/ hybrids integrades whatever you fancy to call them. I have noticed there is a large concentration in Ohio. I am trying to locate a breeder that is somewhat near my area. I do not want to have an animal shipped and I know most will not, understandably. They want to meet me in person, and I the same. If I can find someone within 2-4 hours drive 1 way it would be great.

One of the people on the AFA list referred me to someone in Oklahoma... I'd have to dig through my email for the name if that's better for you.

Yes, Quantum Leap is out of business. And I'd stay far away from that Blue Agave place.

Second what Bev said..
BE Prepared is not an understatement when dealing with Hybrids...
If you want to talk to some who have Hybrids there is a facebook page called Devon Country Ferrants...
Several there have the wild children from my 2012 litter.. and the happier bunch from 2014.

Yes, I think Lindsey's "Bear" came from QLP. They no longer breed ferrets.

I just purchased a privately bred kit in Tulsa, OK. Go to Facebook and look up Blue Agave Ferrets.
