Sorry Heather, I mean Natures Menu blocks. I tend to use lamb or beef to give them an extra red meat meal. It's ground meat and bone but no organs or heart, and no veg. I know it's not good for cleaning their teeth, but I figured they only have that and the soup meal that. The rest is all big pieces that they chew. Wanted to add that I feed the chicks as the egg substitute. I have given them extra, either 1 chicken egg to share or 1 quail egg each but this isn't weekly.

It's ok...I just wondered what it was Congratulations  You've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone, now . You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. A variety of proteins, switched around will be the ultimate best food for your little ones and also prevent them from becoming to fixed on a particular protein. I would like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. Good luck, in a few days the thread will be locked down placed in the archives but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly :thankyou: ciao

Wow! Thank you so much for holding my hand through this switch. So glad my ferrets are on the best diet possible and I feel confident that I know what I'm doing. I've sent you a request on facebook, although I'm on here more often than there.
Thanks again.
