@muchasbellas - I will still continue to weigh them, I meant to ask whether it was worth it to post it on the forums if nothing has changed.
I will see if I can get some livers and hearts on my break today. Livers will be easy, but I'm pretty sure Whole Foods sells hearts. I'd like to introduce (at least) one other organ meat besides liver, but haven't had much luck finding anything nearby.

Sometimes grocery stores label thymus as sweetbreads and that's a good organ meat. Have you asked the meat counter at your local store? Sometimes they'll order things in for you.

My local grocery store has been pretty unhelpful and useless. Thankfully, I live in a city with a huge Asian population and there are many large Asian markets which sell all sorts of meats and organs. The only issue is none of them are on transit lines and I don't have a car.
I will get my husband to drive me out to one, just haven't had a chance yet since we're in the middle of listing our apartment for sale. Our freezer is also SUPER tiny which is a concern for storing extra organs and such.

Wahoooo, got a mentor! I suppose that means that this beautiful thread will be coming to an end. Does an admin need to close the thread, or can we just stop posting here and wait for it to disappear to page 5?
