Wow, those are big chunks already...at least twice what I was thinking, so you're doing great!
It's very possible that Charlie is just finally full. He's been eating a lot. How much did he eat total today?

5 tbls of dry mixed with extra water. I've noticed that he's drinking a lot more since he's been on pred. Is this normal? It's why I have bee giving him extra water in his CC.
Yes, I skipped over those small pieces. I mean really, they wouldn't even notice them. Lol... Ty just decided to wake up now so I'm going to feed him and I'll let ya know how it goes..fingers crossed. Come on Ty!

Ty did really well yesterday. He must have been starving bc he ate so fast. Lol. He's fine though and I'm not worried. One for mom. I'm going to do the same thing today and see how it goes. If it doesn't go well should I do 1/2 & 1/2 and cut the slivers smaller? I am hoping once he gets the hang of it again it will be full steam ahead.

Pred will definitely make him thirsty and most likely hungrier also. I should know, I've been on pred for 3 flippin' weeks now, lol.

Rather than cutting the slivers smaller, I think I'd rather you just add a little extra soup if he needs it. I don't want him to think you're going to make it easier for him if he's stubborn.
How are poops doing? Still firm enough?

Well they didn't want to eat this morning. So they didn't eat. Tonight I'm going to remove some chunks and add more soup. Hopefully that will help.
I'm glad to hear that's normal and I had a feeling but I wanted to be sure. Charlies eaten 5 tablespoons so far today and I'm sure he will eat 2-3 more before the night is over.

Are you leaving the food out for them during the day?

Yes, it's out all day just in case they want to graze which Ty does some days.
They both did great tonight eating almost 2 oz each. So proud but I did have to hold them. I think they know that mom means business when I hold them while they eat. However, I'm going to try to move away from that bc I won't be able to do it for every meal. I'll try in my lap tomorrow morning and see how it goes. Pieces are still large and I added only a little more soup and it's warmed too.
I should also add that they were eating off a single plate all by themselves a couple months ago but I switched to separate dishes so I could tell who was eating what and how much. I also tried a feeding den but they didn't seem to "get it" and never went in the eat. I will try that again at a later date.

Some ferrets just don't like a feeding den. I have one who wants everything in a box, two who really don't care as long as they get food, and one who refuses to eat unless the food is ON the dish out in open air. If they don't like a den and stashing isn't a problem, there's no need to make them use a feeding den.
The best way to get them eating on their own again is with more baby steps. If you're having to actually hold them now, then try just letting them sit in your lap with your hand on their backs. Then the next step would be to put them beside you on the table or floor, still with your hand on them so they know you're right there. Then just sit beside and talk to them. Then move a few inches away, then just staying in the room..... You get the idea. Eventually, they should get the hang of eating without mom again.
They're doing great. What else do you have in the house for them besides chicken meat and soup? Got any hearts, livers, or gizzards?

Yes to all three- gizzards and livers are chicken and the heart is beef.
What should I do with them?

Cut a few little slivers of livers and add to their next meal. Let's see if they like it.

I am better, not well but better and home with lots of fuzzy-lovings! My babies were sooo happy to see me! I've never seen them like this before. Minnie can't stop kissing me. Casper just lays on my feet smiling at me. Leon is hopping around like a bouncy ball. And Slinkee is still, after 2 hours, tearing around the house like a maniac, jumping on me every time he passes. I love my babies!

Days are always better with fuzzies. They always brighten my day now I want to wake mine up and squish 'em! S glad that you are home and feeling a bit better. I shaved off some pieces of heart and liver and added them to the top of their food this morning. I sat Linus in my lap on the floor with my hand on him and he ate well. He also ate most of the liver and heart shavings Ty on the other hand licked the edges of the bowl ate a few pieces of liver and heart. Left the rest! So he will be eating breakfast for dinner again tonight.

Both did great last night. They sat in my lap and ate. They both ate about 2 oz. Ty seems do be eating once a day now and I'm not sure why other than he's not thrilled by his meal. Should I be concerned or no? Ty was eating about 5-6 oz a day before we added chunks. He's full of energy, poops are good and doesn't seem to be losing weight.
Charlie is still moving along. He sleeps much of the time but still eating like crazy but I'm not sure he's gaining weight.
