I've not been very active here in the last months; I'd like to share with you some pics why this as been so. We moved and besides renovating the appartment for us, we constructed an outside enclosure for my ferrets: it is basically finished, there are some details left to do, but the essential for the ferrets is there, the interior will change from time to time, enough space to be creative they can go "downstairs" as well, they have an indoor enclosure in the garage/basement with the advantage: it will never freeze in winter and never get too hot in summer, so my oldies can spend their sunset years as comfy as possible: for winter I already changed the interior here a lot, they have an infrared light on one side on the bottom level and a tile stove for cats on the other side, they love to dry themselves and warm up on those two places we had a lot of rain recently and they like to take a walk under the rain, but they are happy to come in and get perfectly dry again. p.s. of course they still have access to the appartment for "out of cage time", we'll see if we build them a direct access so they can show up at a little window and I'd only have to let them in... for the moment I'm the ferret taxi and bring them in and out

WOW!!! That is amazing. How many ferrets do you have in there? The upstairs looks bigger than my living room and that downstairs is such a brilliant idea and what nice long levels they have to play on. Such very very lucky ferrets.

Absolutely amazing! Our goal is to buy our own house in the next 7 years and we wnat full ferret access inside and out safely. This gives me great ideas for the future. If only rental properties wouldn't flip at a ferret flap in the window.

gfountain of course! are you sociable or do you need a shelf on your own? RedSky I currently have 14 ferrets. yep, the outside enclosure is bigger than my former living room, it appears to be a lot, but we have very strict laws here on ferret keeping and I like to be the model pupil It is always good to get along with the authorities...

Amazing. You have some very lucky ferrets. Not only do they get to live in Switzerland (a dream of mine), but they get to live a palace. You've been very busy and everything looks wonderful. (dance)

gfountain, most important is to get along with the ferrets, that's all that matters ;D @poncesmom Awww, thank you! You could do vacation in Switzerland? I'll have to think about a bed&breakfast for ferrents, I could offer my guestroom in exchange for looking after my ferrets Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

That is absolutely amazing! I will not show it to my 5, as I'm sure they will feel awfully short changed (even though they have stakes to an entire bedroom)
