Well today started off slow with my girls eating, however they ended up not doing too bad. Mia did great she ate 2oz and Bella only ate 1oz. They now have soupie in their cage for the night. I'm hoping to get up in the morning and it's all gone.

They're eating better, try and get Bella to eat 2 oz tomorrow, hold her in your lap and don't let her go until she eats, I did this with mine and now they most always finish everything on their plate, they know if they want down to play, they have to eat. Even if they squirm to get away, they catch on quickly.

I've been keeping track of their food intake and I will continue to do so. I couldn't quite get Bella to 2 oz of soupie, but I did get 1.4 oz into her which is more than yesterday. I have to look at the positives right now because my gut tells me she is not well Mia did GREAT!! She at 5 oz of soupie! I just got back from getting more chicken because I need to make more food first thing in the morning. I'm really happy about that!

You all are doing well! Congrats!! Keeping track of the amount of the food they eat is great! I need to really buckle down and do that for my 5, but they all share plates so it's difficult-but I like how you're so dilligent about it so I will try to follow in your footsteps! (so thank YOU!) I know you're worried about Bella. The best advice, or encouragement, I can give is to try to find a vet you're comfortable with. I took Zekrom (my problem child) to 2 different vets before I finally made an appointment to a vet that's an hour away-and that's when there isn't traffic I loved her so much, I took Zoey there just for a wellness exam where I was blindsided to find out her adrenal gland was enlarged (meanwhile she had her 'wellness' check up 2 months prior and was 'healthy'). She also had her blood glucose checked and we had to go back every 3 months(twice)-and that's when I finally decided to switch them to raw. I'm not going to ramble on about my kids, but is really does ease your nerves to take them in sooner than later. IF she does have insulinoma, getting her on the right track now (instead of 6 months from now) will not only help her but help you too I hope I helped and did not make you feel sad because you are doing a great job! Not only with the raw but also the overall health of your girls! I can feel how much you love them through your posts! Keep up the good work and I look forward to reading how much they ate last night!!

Thank you so much ferretmomma!! Such kind words. I do love my babies so so much, they sure know how to get into our hearts and fast.
Mia is not too hungry yet today, but she pigged out yesterday by eating 5 oz, plus the 1 oz I left in their cage was pretty well gone this morning and I'm sure it was Mia who ate it. So she must be satisfied. lol
I'm waiting to hear back from a vet. I sure hope she hurries up!!!
Thank you again....your kind words mean a lot. xo

Mia is doing awesome with her transition!!! She is eating around 4-5oz per day! She is really enjoying the rabbit with bone in. I'm still using the soupie recipe but using rabbit with bone in and chicken. Mia's coat has improved drastically and she seems to be putting weight on. I will be weighing her tomorrow. Here's a pic of my two girls cuddling...Mia is on the right, as you will see her coat is getting much nicer, thanks to the raw food diet!!
