I started switching my guys just before I joined the forum, main reason for finally joining the forum. I have snooped on here multiple times for a few years before I joined. I would love to do the mentor program, my thing is how can you track poop's when you have multiple ferrets, I work full time so there are hours when I am not home to see who is pooping out what lol I have ordered a scale and I am waiting for it to come in, my local butcher and grocery store are my suppliers of food. I have been switching them for the last 3-4 weeks now, my boys are willing to eat slivers and my girl is still a sit on the floor and hold her with a spoon of soup. I also only buy enough meat to last a week or 2 as I have limited freezer space.

So long as all the poops look normal, I think it's okay. If you come to find a concerning poop, you can separate them into different rooms. But when on raw poops are different, if it's only been a few weeks they're probably still detoxing and also are new to it and poops will be weird, haha.
For freezer space, you can you buy about 2-3 weeks worth of meat, cut it up and portion it (if you make 8 oz at a time, then portion it into 8 oz bags) then smoosh the bags, and shove them into a box or pile them all together on one shelf or spot? I have 2 boxes that take up half a shelf, and 2 small boxes that I fit several weeks or 2+ months worth of kidney in that barely take up any space, I portioned the kidney into .5 oz, put it in a bag, smooshed the bag to get the air out then rolled it up and shoved it in, bag after bag. I got a bunch of it in there this way. I also fit 10 pounds of Pork loin, portioned into 1lb, in a small box.

I have been cutting up and dividing individual ingredients and bagging them, then taking out each ingredient and bagging it to thaw, will start freezing in portions...makes better sense duh total blonde moment on not doing that lol. I bought a cleaver yesterday to break down turkey necks and chicken wings, hubby gave me a very weird look when I was all excited to show him my new knife lol

Conversion is going well, LouLou is quickly adjusting, Cyrano is taking to it the best, today he ate a good chunk of beef heart. I have been using MDF ground chicken and bone, it's organic and they seem to like it very much. I then add in the organ meats and heart.

Well since I started adjusting my 3 to raw I have added 2 more kids to our business, all 5 are eating MDF ground chicken and bone that I add puree'd heart and liver to with powdered egg shell and every couple of days coconut oil is in there as well. All 5 are now eating the ground without any problems. So yesterday I did not refill the kibble bowl in the cage and so far they have not complained. All 5 are now playing and having fun, but I have noticed less poo's as they get their meal twice a day. Is that normal? Also as I know they are not eating enough bone for their teeth how do you clean their teeth for them? Thanks everyone

So took a couple of chicken wings and cut them, bone and all into 1 inch chunks, Cyrano thoroughly enjoyed it, Jack and LouLou both took and piece and hid to eat it. Jagger and Milo so far no interest. But it's a start, on the plus side I got to play with my new cleaver

That sounds like real progress. Congratulations.
