It's a good thing we switched our ferret to raw! We have a full container of that stuff! I'll have to see if that was one of the bags recalled and see if we can get our money back. That way we can buy more raw food!

here we go again.
I warned about this. nothing good will come from the sale going from natura to proctor and gamble to Mars corp.
this is not the same food natura made years ago.

This is why I explain to people who feed kibble/wet food/pre-made raw (like myself) that its not just the ingredients that matter, but the company itself and how much you trust their business practices with your pets' lives. There's a reason why I choose to spend $80/15lb bag on Orijen... and why I choose to purchase local PMR formulas... because I trust the companies and I know where their ingredients are coming from and how tight their quality control is over their food.

As long as you stay on top of news of company acquisitions. Natura was a great pet food company. Once it was acquired by P&G it started its cost cutting and sub par ingredients substitutions. They Had 2 recalls in a little over a year. Then Mars bought P&G's entire pet food division. This is the first of the recalls under Mars. I only expect it to get worse.
