If Grizzly is avoiding chicken I'd trust his judgment on that.

2/5/15am Consumed- whole egg and 2 oz of turkey neck <10% liver and heart Comments They are eating most of the liver, the heart isn't ignored if the piece is too tiny to bother eating around . Getting closer to 10% 2/5/15pm Consumed 5 oz of FDR duck and goose. Grizzly ate with the group!!!! 2/6/15 am Consumed 4 1/4oz FDR suck and Goose. Grizzly hogged down with the gang. Question Would it be ok to stick with things that a Grizzly will eat for,a few more meals? The Stella and Chewys whole animal duck/goose is a fav. Or should I mix the FDR with game hen?

Life is still very chaotic. Mom still in hospital. Will be for awhile. Dad has started living with us. Mom will join him here if she comes home. I am gathering all the medical supplies needed plus service (hospice, nursing, PT, etc). Half the time someone else is feeding ferrets, so I can only go by their guesstimates. So I would not count the consumption as definite.

I thought we were chaotic before, this week is even more demanding. We are in the process of renovating bathroom, adding a lift (think elevator) to garage, and we are all taking turns being with my parents during the day at their Independent Living Center until the night nurse comes in for the night shift. In between all that we have on average two doc visits a day getting all the certification requirements for things like liquid oxygen, hospital beds. Whew.
The fuzzkids are being well cared for by me and my daughters boyfriend (love that boy). I don't have consumption rates, but they are all eating about 8-9 oz a day. FDR about every other to third meal, with whole 6 oz meals of raw bone in whole chicken including organs (minus breast meat). One total egg and heart meal and this. Or oh my god they are eating turkey, duck, goose FDR with 2 eggs.

2/13/15am Caring for parents during this time ferrets were fed balanced bone in raw, FDR duck, turkey, goose, chicken, raw eggs, liver, heart 2/23/15 am pm Comments They haven't been eating as much but I wondered if that was because they could feel my tension? 2/24/15 am Consumed 3 raw eggs, 3 oz bone in chicken wing 2/24/15 pm Consumed 5 oz chicken thigh muscle and bone 2/25 /15am Consumed 6 oz FDR (cat formula) turkey sprinkled on FDR duck, duck, goose 2/25/15pm Consumed 4 oz raw turkey necks Comments "I cut most of the meat away from the neck bones; however, I did leave some bones in. This time they ate all of it. I think crushing the bones made too many sharp fragments,( from my last attempt) . I'm working toward giving them a whole sections then they can choose to crunch or not. " 2/26/15 Consumed 4 oz Chicken wings, 2 oz liver (I've been out)

They could be eating less because we are coming up on Spring. I actually gave up on necks a long time ago. I found that my girls were very fussy with them and I ended wasting a lot it most of the time.
