I don't know if this is exactly an emergency, but I didn't know where else to put it
Snowy just randomly starting making a weird noise. It's kinda squeaky and a little like wheezing. It also sounds like he's swallowing. He just ate 2/3 ounces of soup, including a few slivers(yay!) and drank some water. He was playing with Nestle normally, so not acting differently. I just had to put all of their toys away because Nestle was chewing them, so I don't think he could've eaten anything like that. I listened to his chest and it sounds like he's breathing fine other than that noise, which doesn't seem to be coming from his lungs. Any ideas what it could be?
He also licks his lips everytime he makes that noise.

I was in a panic when Bleu started making a continual swallowing noise. (sounds kinda like the noise ultrasound machine makes) I worried because I had just read that waardies can have heart problems. When I took him to the vet he said there was nothing wrong with his heart and that it looked like he could be developing pneumonia, after a course of antibiotics he was fine and did not do it anymore. every once in a while he will make that noise again but then it stops.
I would definitely have him checked out by a vet.

He wasn't doing it while he was asleep, and only did it a few times after he woke up Thanks

Could it be hair caught in his throat? ciao I think that must've been it because it has completely stopped now, thankfully

tis the season. mine have not started yet and have not really started their weight gain. but it is still upper 90s here in California. We had a few cold days here and there but nothing to really trigger the change.
Once in Oregon I expect it though.
