As per PM I really think it was due to the stress of being temporarily separated. As long as it doesn't happen again AND she is eating, playing, pooping normally I wouldn't worry too much just yet. If it happens again or you notice ANY other symptoms though it's time for a vet visit.
What is your vet's take on raw?

Hurricanekatt said she could have been stressed from her and Cai's separation while I was monitoring their poops. Last night she ate really slowly, probably because it was thicker than before. I'll watch her closely, I hope it was just that one time.

My Vets intake on raw is pretty much that it's an absolute horrible thing and that everyone should feed their pets Iams. He doesn't know they are on raw, I found no need to bring it up yet. But last time I brought up raw feeding years ago he pretty much said I would get salmonella or my family would get it and that it is difficult and they can get sick from it and etc etc

Hmmm I must be a miracle woman with some crazy, mega-power immune system then because I have never gotten salmonella. In fact, none of my family has either. Maybe there's some sort of radiation in Alaska that makes us immune....

I got the same lecture from my Vet, when I said we were going raw. So, I just told him that I would reconsider it and never brought it up again.

I suppose us here in TN have different radiation because I mean, if I continue this I'm just going to get terribly sick ya know? It's not like people bring raw meat into their houses and cut it up and handle it and cook it or anything. lol I try not to talk about nutrition with my Vet either, I don't want to start anything or I won't get my recommendation letter for college

Wait...Are you telling me that people bring RAW meat into their HOMES...and then they HANDLE it?!?! Oh dear gods save us all! We are about to have a major, deadly salmonella pandemic on our hands! It's a wonder we aren't all dead already. Forget the Ebola scare - this is WAY worse!!

I know, I know. We need to stop this madness.. if people keep touching raw meat the whole entire human race with die out. Yes I am saying we are all going to DIE.
And gosh, don't you guys know that ferrets are practically herbivores? I mean, they've been domesticated for so long that all of their genes have just magically changed and so they actually cannot digest raw meat, plus it will kill them... OH NO, now we've killed the human race and all the ferrets! When will this terror end???

I'd like to point out the massive E. coli problem in sprouts too. I mean, we should probably just stop eating period and stop feeding our pets. I think it is the only way....

And the lysteria in soft cheese and salmonella in eggs and bacteria in yoghurt(oh no that's good for us) & the heavy metals in Tuna, and the germs all around us that could hurt us lets just live in an isolation bubble and never eat or enjoy life again lol

You're right, world starvation is the only way we will all survive! And I also think we should stop using shampoo, think of all the problems it is causing.

This morning I fed Caillou first, he ate 3 oz of the same soupy, I sat in the floor with him but he ate it on his own, after he got his meds.
I forgot to feed Juliet this morning :face: stupid me, poor Jules
Tonight I mashed up a chicken wing and offered it to Caillou, he ate several (5-8) pieces of it, maybe 1-2 with bone. I was so proud! Then I gave him his meds and fed him 2 oz of soupy that he ate well.
Juliet would only lick the wing pieces, she wasn't dare going to chew them. Then she ate 2 oz of soupy, to my surprise wasn't that hungry even though she didn't eat that morning, weird fert.
Energy level in Caillou is great, played for hours today and hasn't chewed since Thursday. Energy level in Juliet is almost non-existent, going to entice her to play tomorrow by letting her into some different rooms, hopefully that will perk her up.
Caillou is so fat and fluffy, every time I take him somewhere or to the Vets office I get comments on how nice and healthy he looks. One of the Vet techs when taking him to weigh said to Cai, "You look so healthy and sweet, I really like you!" it was funny, and 2 other techs commented on him too. Juliet is looking better and gaining weight, but it's not as drastic as Caillou's progress. For a (almost) blind, deaf, and cancerous 6 year old she's doing good though.
Stools are, normal, I suppose. Some are seedy, runny and light brown and some are more formed and dark brown. They still pee a lot, which is pushing their clumping litter to the max, had to scrape cinderblock-like pee clumps off the bottom of the litter box today. Hopefully once they're used to all the water in their new diet they'll pee a little less, it's not as much as a week ago though.
Today Juliet ate 2 oz soupy Today Caillou ate 5 oz soupy
