I'd just love to find a good vet in my area. Sadly I've hunted high and low and this is the best I can find, so I'll have to just listen to what he has to say and then do my own research as well.

I'm really glad I found a vet who is on board/endorses raw diet...sounds like I got lucky I guess. Well, the American Ferret Assoc. has an FAQ that states what not to feed ferrets, including fruit...would they be legit enough? Here's the FAQ link www.ferret.org/read/faq.html

The Canadian and UK docs seem to be more forward thinking.
