Mice will be a good one too. You might get away with chicken hearts and liver here and there. Those ones are hard to judge because they might be getting nasty poops but the dark loose stools are also similar to heart poop. That will be all about her activity level there.

Sherry said it was fur. Poor Anna has lost her beautiful coat. All i have in cgh is breast, so i did not try this--rather wait and get boney pieces, probably Sunday afternoon or Monday. However i did try to feed her a pinkie . i had to put quail egg on it. she did not like it at all, and it was such teeny, tiny pieces . Also i gave her a mouse---she gets excited as in--- playing with it and stashing it. I doubt she ate it. I could not find it in her room, so that means it may be in mine They wasted another quail the other night and i left them some rabbit tonight.

If her poops are this is let's wait to trial another protein until her pops are okay again. Go back to the safe protein for a few days and we will try CGH

Also, in sure sherry said but egg is a great way to help those hairs through. She prop has her seasons mixed up and is sheading and grooming more often. Now that we know she has chicken sensitivity, let me ask about chicken eggs. I know you said at one point that you had quail eggs. That might be the alternative. Will follow up on that.

Yeah I bet she has hair in her mouth from grooming. My poor Pepe has his seasons backwards too and is bald and chocking on fur all winter. He loves his eggies too I haven't heard back from anyone yet, you might give her a little bit of her favorite oil in the mean time. That will help too.

So glad to hear that someone else's baby is mixed up on shedding-- I was beginning to worry she had adrenal disease.

Found a place that offers duck hearts. they will ship Jan 5.
Hope Annabelle can handle these, i guess i will weigh them and compare weight to a chicken heart. I may have to cut it in half. never seen a duck heart--- i think it is peking duck,
I think i am going to start giving 1 heart a day and avoid that big heart day.

I think once it's not chicken heart you will not have such issues with poops. One or two dark runny poops on heart day is normal. Also duck hearts that I have had in past are very similar size. A big bigger but not much. You can also almost always find breed heart at grocery stores. Good option too.
