Trying to help a ferret who has been stuck in PetCo for 6 months. He has an employee trying to get him to Seattle to be adopted but the airline she is flying with (Delta) said no ferrets. What SPECIFIC US airlines have people used in the past to fly ferrets?

can't answer that but think a PM to Rolo's ferrent henrika may help because I think Rolo is a seasoned flyer.

Henrika flies within Canada (Toronto to B.C. I believe).

I don't think ferrets can fly in cabin on any U.S. airline. Delta Dash works well for shipping animals depending on the route. They won't do it in some areas during the summer. United is also good for shipping animals. We used United to get Nicholai from Austin to Tulsa. IIRC, he and his sister came from Boston to Austin via Delta Dash. Delta is a good bit more expensive than the United shipping.

My guys have flown United and Airtransat. No, no ferrets can fly cabin on any airline that I know of. They have to fly cargo. They appeared to have been well treated and they were treated very well at both airports that I had to pick them up at. ciao

The only way to have a ferret fly in the cabin is to have an ESA.
I recently went through this and got a prescription for a dog and 2 ferrets.
Though I have not tried to fly with them. I do have the note from a therapist that airlines are suppose to accept.
That being said there is no way to fly with a ferret in or out of California.
