Hi Sherry. I am so sorry to hear of your loss...lots of prayers for you and your family! In the mean time, here is the overview for this week, October 12th - 18th: I spent the last week focusing on BC and P gaining weight. I hand fed every meal (sometimes not so much in the morning) AND I have been offering a Wysong Dream Treat after each meal (either rabbit or quail). So far, BC is the only one that will eat them...P will nibble a little bit and Max and Lily won't touch them. Also, for BC and P, each meal has been 1 ounce of soup and 1/2 ounce of slivers while Max and Lily have been getting 1ounce of slivers and 1/2 ounce of soup. Talk to you soon. Annette

How large are the slivers now, and it is time to start doing organs separate from the soup. Myself I do heart, liver, organ pureed. Sometimes I have to hand feed, sometimes not.

And the update for 10/15: Here is a pic of last night's slivers:
I have tried to vary the sizes...some small, some large, (not huge tho) etc. Organ soup, huh? That should be fun Annette

Let me know how they do We also need to start pushing them again with the sizes. I would like you to, at the same time, start thinning out the soup with water and increase the amount of slivers.

10/16 update: Will be stocking up on meats and organs this weekend. Is there a particular recipe to use for the organ soup? I did a quick search but didn't see anything. Annette

Just puree half heart, 1/4 liver, 1/4 other organ with enough water to make it soupie. They are going to resist it at first which is the reason for the hand feeding
