Hey there Well I need to quit saying I am going to catch up tomorrow because then tomorrow comes and I am still behind Crazy deadlines at work (made worse by me being sick last week) so I am working late, bringing work home, etc. I haven't had time to make notes, take poop pics (LOL) or anything. I am so sorry. Don't give up on me! In the mean time, regarding giving bone-in pieces to every meal, I have to admit adding bone-in pieces in the morning is going to be a challenge. Also, is it okay to leave the bone-in pieces? I have been taking them out when I wasn't around to supervise...worries about choking. TTYS. Annette

That's OK Annette - I really understand. For your catch up you could even post me a couple lines on how they are eating. Is anyone attempting the bone in pieces? Here's an easy tip for you. Take your bone in meat, ex chicken back, and chop up a large batch, say 3 backs. Then use little baggies and freeze in portions. Say 8-10 little pieces per bag. Then take out and add to each meal. This lessens the hassle of chopping each day. Once they reliably eat those pieces then you can add 2 of those baggies to each meal! This way it can be added to each meal without a bunch of work each time. Please do leave the bone-in pieces. That way they can have a chance to possibly eat them I remember worrying about choking too but just know that the chances are VERY slim. The chance of choking on a kibble is probably just as high, or higher.

Hey there. Okay fresh start!!!! Overview for the week: Update for Sunday, 2/22: Apologies for the poor quality pics...no one would cooperate. I have some chicken wing pieces cut up and ready to go...not enough for the whole week but enough to get started. Everyone will eat a small piece of wing if hand fed except Lily, She won't even take it in her mouth. Other than that, everyone is doing good. Will keep trying! Hope things are better for you. Annette

Good evening. So it looks like Max is doing best with wings. How small are the pieces? You might need to downsize for your picky ones. Keep them fairly small for in their soups. Think about .5 inch. Tinier if needed until they eat some on their own. Continue to handfeed as well. This can be a difficult switch-going from Just pieces to bone in pieces. Keep trying. Smash the bone well so they can taste the yummy marrow. Another idea is to add some regular non bone mixed with wing pieces to soups. See if that tricks them a little bit.

I see everyone has at least tried a piece of wing. . Except lily. I'm assuming gummed means she spit it out right away. Keep it up with all of them. Is there a special treat lily likes? You can try mixing her treat with a bone in piece to entice her. Once she will eat one or two you can increase the amount of bone in pieces. Keep them nice and small.

How many pieces of bone in do you think your adding? Continue to hand feed them since that's most successful. They are used to lots of pieces so i find it unusual how stubborn they are being.
