After day 3 in their new outdoor playpen (which they only spend a couple of hours in), Calvin is still hiding in the cardboard box, only emerging to comando crawl to the dog bed. And Susie-Fey is pacing around like a caged polar bear trying to find a weakness in the fence to escape. So, today I added 2 tunnels, a pool, and a den I made from a broken flower pot and some garden debris. Success! Everyone loooved the tunnels, and the den was a hit. Calvin actually played for 1/2 hour before retiring to the dog bed for the afternoon, and Susie seemed to forget about her escape plans. Here is Calvin snorkling: Checking out the den: Hobbs' bum disappearing in the tunnel: and Susie-Fey looking for a way out:

Very nice, it's getting there. Ferrets are very intellegent and are not easily satisfied with just being outdoors. Like small children they like to have lots of interesting things to do while they're out there ciao

That looks so awesome, I agree the den is my favorite. I'm so jealous cause we don't have a yard to let the kids play in!
