You can up his bone too. Try the pumpkin first and see if that helps. If not then try and up his bone amounts. Is he actually eating his bones? Sometimes the bones get stashed or aren't eaten entirely...that means that they're not necessarily getting all the bone that their body needs ciao
Most have trouble consuming pork bones, or the weight bearing bones on the chicken. So if you have a lot of drumsticks or thighs, odds are he's not actually consuming enough of it. You can also try putting some eggshell powder on the meat chunks. 1/2 tsp per 8 ounces of meat.

i do give him egg shells. he eats the prc bones, theyre fairly small and break easily. i usually give him chicken wings instead of drumsticks and he eats those bones, hes not much of a stasher, he leaves his food in his bowl and i never find bones elsewhere so hes gotta be eating them. ive made myself crazy trying to find pumkin here!
Have you checked out the baking section of your supermarket? It's usually in with the pie fillings but make sure it's just pumpkin and not the pie filling. Squash can be substituted, you can usually find that in either your fresh veggie section or the freezer section. ciao
