Dangerous toy warning! This cat toy was donated to my rescue group, among several other things. I set it out during last night's romp time. Bumble got his head stuck in one of the holes on top. Thankfully I was right there to scruff him and gently free him before he could explode into a panicked frenzy. The toy will now be donated to the cats at the animal shelter. But please do not buy these for your weasels!

Betsy Dunehew Thank you for sharing! Isn't there a rule of thumb for the size of holes for fuzzies? To ensure they don't get stuck? I thought I've heard it before but can't remember....

Li Martin It is partially my fault for not thinking it all the way through. I thought they'd enjoy the springy mouse on the top and didn't consider that they'd dive head first into it.

Krystle McAllister You called it a cat toy, so obviously it was intended to be used for cats rather than weasels. Makes sense that not every cat toy would be suited for weasels and that it would be the job of the farent to verify it's satety. Really the toy isn't a dangerous toy, it's just not suited for ferrets.

Heather Downie Or kittens either.....No, if you've got small animals, kittens or ferrets this toy isn't suitable to be left around. If you've got large cats and no ferrets then this toy might be suitable. I do not allow toys that have "holes" into the house. Many years ago, I had a kitten get stuck in a similar toy. Cat toys are often used as ferret toys, the warning is well recieved
