Yes I will do I ordered the taurine :-)
Yes I ordered minced hearts and minced beef so can try both separately to work out which one he doesn't like or if its both! :-) I have to say Ollie is really hard work and at times confusing haha
I just put another bowl of 4oz in Oscar woke up and is currently stashing it so I'm guessing he's not hungry at the moment so will hopefully have some later. I'm just so pleased Ollie eat it and not only that but he thoroughly enjoyed it! (dance)
The meat I put into night also had a pinch of bone meal in, as there not eating bones at the moment, its not one fit for human consumption which I think I read on here somewhere is what should be used, but so far I haven't managed to find one, only ones for cats and kittens.
Yep it must just be lazy with the chicken wings or they prefer the texture of the grinds maybe, but as they need to eat bone for there teeth it's something that I want to work on :-)
I have ordered some rabbit cubes and dried chicken wings from the barf website for there treats, maybe eating these will get them into chewing and working at the food that they might then try the chicken wings, but will see :-)

The reason I added a pinch of bone meal tonight was because Oscars stools were quite running earlier this evening

I am really glad he enjoyed it too. Oscar is funny with his stashing. Are their poops still looking ok with the added bone meal? I think it's ok, especially since it is only meant for the time being. The human grade one prob just has better nutrients, so if you were having to use it for a long time it might be a problem. We will get them eating bone!
I was looking at the Barf site again and I just saw the Kangaroo jerky... I'm jealous! We can't get exotic things like that here! What I was actually looking for: I wonder if the chicken wings have bones in them still. I can't tell by the pics. I am interested to see what you get!

Yes Oscar also stashes small soft toys, he will carry them from one end of the garden to his run, on one occasion I was working on there run, I built a top level, Oscar took my screwdriver and stashed it, he also attempted to take my drill Iv only added the bone meal tonight after seeing Oscars stools were a bit runny earlier so will have to see there stools in the morning to see how they are. Oh you just seen my above post haha! That's surprises me regarding not being able to get the exotic things there, i often wished I lived in America as online they have so much more in the way off good food and toys etc for ferrets where as here in the UK it's a struggle to find anything lol!! I am assuming the chicken wings will have bone in otherwise they can't really say there chicken wings, if its just the meat but I could be wrong I normally am haha!

One of the ferrets from years ago was a little thief! Stichy, he stole everything! Little Ruby is also becoming quite the shoe thief herself. lol
Also, I would love to see more pics of your cage! I ment to say something when you posted the pics of Ollie, but got wrapped up in his weight. I love that you can leave them outside, they prob love it too. Does it not get very hot or cold there?

Awww to have never had one steal shoes yet lol, I love the name ruby for a ferret :-)
I think I might have some pictures of there cage on my iPad if I have I will post them shortly, if not I will get some and post tomorrow evening.
They come out in the garden twice a day they get about a hour in the morning and two hours in the evening, I have to watch them even though my garden is secure I would ever leave them unattended when out of there cage, besides Ollie gets in all my plants and digs them up lol!
However they do have a extra outdoor run attached to there cage so they can come out when they please into that on there own :-)
It gets quite cold here during the winter, we don't really seem to have good summers well not recently anyway, the hottest it gets here is prob about 25-26 c They have thick fleeces hammocks that they can get into during he winter and also there run has been insulated :-)

Here's a few pics I had already on my iPad, I don't have any with the full runs in the picture so will get some tomorrow and post on here for you, it's basically altogether 8ft long by 7ft wide with a top level now :-) This is Oscar in the outdoor run which is attached to the indoor one This is the top level I built recently, it spans across both the indoor run and the outdoor run This pic gives a idea of there runs

Mine love it outdoors too, but we don't have a good area for them to run without leashes yet. Soon though! But they are out in the house pretty much all the time if I am home. Their a little bit spoiled!
26c is nothing!!! It get's over 38 c (100 f) here in the summer, but rarely gets below freezing. I have to worry about the heat more than the cold for sure!

That is so neat! I would love to build an outdoor run for them someday! That's huge too! The two new ones will still have plenty of room. :0)

Must be nice to have them running around the house! I can't do that as I have a dog who would eat them lol
Wow that's hot!! I don't think I could cope with that let a lone the ferrets haha, when it's that hot do you stay in ?
We don't really have it that cold rarely it gets below freezing and when it does it's normally only for a week if that.
Yes it rattles at the moment with just the two ferrets so think the four will be perfect for it, the top levels I built recently can be shut off, so when the baby's arrive I can put them up there and stop Ollie and Oscar going in so gives time for them to smell and chat to each other before they mix and also baby's a chance to get a little bigger :-)
How many ferrets do you have ?

I enjoy having them around the house. It's hard sometimes because I also have 3 kids under the age of 6 and a boxer so I have to constantly be watching and doing head counts. But so far so good. I currently have 3 ferrets, but have had several others over the years. I think I will always have a ferret or two in my life. And we are so used to the heat, we go out in it, but not for long I'll admit lol
I really love your enclosure. And the weather there sounds really nice.

Two empty bowls this morning!! :-)
A few of there stools were still a little runny this morning and some were much better, should I add some bone meal again tonight ? should I feed the chicken and turkey again tonight just to get Ollie into it again before I try the other proteins, I think I only have these or beef and heart left until my order arrives which is now going to be Wednesday according to the supplier which is ok as it gives me time to run the new freezer for 24 hours and to make sure the temp is set correctly :-)
