That's so cute, though. Maybe you could wrap up a piece of chicken or something?
I think Roamy's previous ferrant gave him lettuce. He goes to the fridge and just begs for lettuce. If we have a salad, he tries to steal the lettuce. When I first brought him home, I posted a thread about it and asked if the occasional piece, would be okay. Of course, it's a No No. His last ferrant named him Romeo, I changed it to Roamy and apparently Roamy is short for Romaine (lettuce). (giggle)

You're right, I was thinking more of the sound of the crinkling attracting her attention.
Its early and you're probably not up yet, but I'm looking forward to hearing about Evanna's morning frolic in your room.

well she woke up and got out of her cage around 4 and she was really loud then either she quieted down or I got used to it because I fell back asleep. She didnt climb on the bed at all with me so I didnt squish her, and I do like this better than her cage raging. I mean that can't be healthy right? I had to play find the ferret this AM though which scared me a little because I didnt know where she was for a split second. I have her travel carrier on the floor with a blanket inside and she had gone to sleep in there. She also ate almost all of her food YAY! Im not having to spoon feed her anymore unless its something new (like the organ soup).

Oh and I have some of those crinkly foil balls and she's not as interested in those as she is the wrapper. She also likes plastic bags and getting into trashcans with plastic bags in them I think she just likes plastic.

Yeah! She will be much happier, getting out of her cage and playing and exploring. I do think, its much healthier for her to be happy and stimulated. Find the Ferret is a fun game (dance) I'm a neatfreak, but I am always opening drawers and putting blankets out and about, for them to explore. Paul's dresser is about five feet high and all of mine love to explore that. I pulled a chair up to it, opened all the drawers and its Juliet's favorite place. She goes into the top drawers and pulls all of Paul's shorts into the back of the drawers, makes a nest and then brings everyone else into the drawer for a nap: Trash bins are very popular here, too. I just leave one empty in each room, and let them play in it. Then I hide one, that's the one that I actually use. I know, indulgent ferrant. That's so great that she is eating on her own. I think she has discovered that this new food tastes good. What did she have for breakfast?

chicken wings she wont eat it all in one sitting, but she eats throughout the day and night. She eats most of it and leaves maybe .1 oz if she leaves anything.

That's still alot for little Evanna. Good for her. Are you going to let her roam around your room again, tonight? She's going to build up some nice muscles!

yeah I've actually pretty much just let her free roam the house today. She went back into her cage about an hour ago for a snack and a snooze.
