Please share any other forums that you would recommend. I know we have people here with lots of other kinds of pets, and research is important with any animal. So, if you have any other pet/diet/etc forums that you are on and would like to recommend, please share them here. This way we can continue to encourage doing your research for any kind of pet, as well as help to provide people with the resources to do so. Thanks in advance for all input!

Herp Centerwww.herpcenter.com/This is my favorite reptile/amphibian forum. The members are VERY knowledgeable. There are breeders, new people, people who have owned herps since the 1700's (haha ok jk). They tend to be overly blunt, and a bit tactless IMO, but are very well meaning. They want the best for the reptiles and the owners. The care standards on this forum are superb and the amount and quality of information is top of the line. Hamster Hideouthamsterhideout.com/forum/index.php?act=idxFun little Hamster forum. They even have a list of "raw" (fresh) foods that are good to feed different species of hamsters. Pangea Forums - Crested Geckos www.pangeareptile.com/forums/index.phpRepashy Reptile Forums www.forums.repashy.com/GREAT site for crested geckos and other rhacs especially.

Aquaria Centralwww.aquariacentral.com/forums/Great resource for all things aquatic, they cover fresh, salt, brackish, planted, inverts, the technical aspects of setting up a tank as well as organic...I haven't been active for a while since my fish have taken backseat to the ferrets and rodents, but I remember them being a very friendly, helpful group .

I've been enjoying the Pacific Northwest Herpetological Society forum -- while the members live in the PNW, it's still a fabulous resource full of helpful people: www.pnwhs.org/I plan to attend a meeting in May hopefully. I've got a 9' redtail boa named Samhain.

Dogs www.chazhound.com/forums I've been on this forum for 7 years now lol! It's a great community, LOADS of information for dog owners, very very active. Very passionate people, they have zero tolerance for BYBing, harsh training methods, etc. Pictures :-*We have all kinds of people, vets, techs, groomers, owners, trainers, etc etc so there's a lot of information, I feel like I learn something everyday. There's quite a few of us who are pro raw, limited vacs, natural methods, etc. And there's a place for 'other pets' as well. Actually there are several of us with ferrets.

www.chihuahua-people.comI am on and off there, haven't been on in quite awhile honestly. I like it there but they are very into raw and I have tried everything I can with my dog but he just ends up throwing up for days on end when I try to get him on raw

www.ratforum.com/index.phpMy boyfriend has rats and spends a bit on time on this forum. I don't personally browse it often, but he enjoys reading it and says the people there are very knowledgeable and helpful.
