Welcome to the forum! Awesome to see someone starting off ferret ownership on the right track and educating themselves, they really are a specialized little furball.

Hi Marie and Welcome to the HFF (wave) I love hearing that a new ferrant is taking the time to learn about the little guys. Don't hesitate to ask questions or comment on posts. If you are interested in feeding raw, after 15 posts, you can sign up for a Mentor. Take a look at some switching threads, to get a feel for how the process works. If you need any help, searching for topics of interest or posting pictures, you can ask right here on your thread, and someone will post instructions. Have fun and see you around the forum (dance)

Thank you pouncemom, I have been reading the switching threads.. I have started with kibble(wellness core kitten) and raw ground up chicken..made a soupy mix... Jack does good Fern only licks the soupy kibble... But this week I will be making the raw soup... can't wait..

Jack and Fern... those names sound so sweet! Even though you haven't had ferrets for long, I'm sure you're already in love with them! Congrats and good luck with your switch!

Thank you all for the Welcomes.. Since I joined I have added an albino baby girl Dolly... 10 weeks old, she was switch over to raw right away and eating chunks of chicken , beef, bones, hearts, liver and what ever raw meat I give her.... Fern and Jack are older and a bit stubborn but I will keep trying to get them on raw... I have been able to get the on the best kibble I can for now... Wysong Epigen 90
