Poops normally are a little loose on soup because of the consistency and the water content. Just keep an eye on it and remember that the soup is just a stage. I'd give it a few more days and then start introducing small pieces of meat to it.

Just to give you an idea of the amounts (which are very good). Between my two girls they only eat about 4 oz a day. Your business has great appetites!

I was not sure if their appetite was good, as the soup is being watered down, and water weighs quite a bit. The soup is also kinda of airy since I am mixing it with a magic bullet. But since it is being weighed not fluid oz that does not factor. I am hoping to get some weight on Hammie.
I am not sure if they are ready for slivers. there is the occasional small chunk in the soup. about the size of BB. they all spit it out. It may just be that it is because it is bone or cartilage not meat.

When you are ready to try slivers you want them long and thin as they tend to chew with the sides of their mouths / their back teeth. Try about 1/2" long and about half as thick as your pinky finger.

I'd really start trying them on the slivers of meat. They really are well into the soup stage now.

ok will do that tomorrow.
so the soup made the same way just with added slivers? how many slivers? do I start with a few and then increase?
I pulled some duck breast out of the freezer to thaw for tonight's soup.
Breakfast today was
Koufos 3.5 oz
Hammie 3.2 oz
Cassia 2.8 oz

Adding the slivers made them eat a lot more probably helped that the soup weighed more for the volume with the slivers.
They did fine with the duck breast slivers however I cut up some of the duck fat/skin and that did not go over so well. Hammie did not care for the amount of chewing he had to do with the duck fat. that made Hammie sling it out of his mouth. Lucky for me I was making dinner and I had my Girlfriend feeding him so she got the soup slung all over her. She was not amused but I sure was.
Hammie 4.7 oz
Koufos 4.2 oz
Cassia 3.8 oz

Lol!! Yeah I can believe that. Did the others have the same problems with the fat or just Hammie?
Glad they liked the slivers. Basically just feed the same amount by weight but decrease the soup by whatever amount you add of slivers.

They seemed annoyed with the fat. They chewed it reluctantly they did not sling it like Hammie did.
If they eat more the better right? I always increase the batch by 2 oz when they eat the whole batch.

Basically give them as much as they want to eat and weigh any leftovers. That way you can determine what is "normal" for your crew. Keep in mind there is usually a big spike in how much they eat once they get onto raw and then it levels out.

a note on the fat. Poultry skin (chicken and turkey) I usually cut up pretty small as if you leave it in long pieces sometimes they can choke or it ends up being to much at a time and they will vomit it back up.
