My two albino girls have been successfully fed frankenprey since day one. Both doing brilliantly.
Their organ meals are currently made up of liver and kidney. I've been trying to vary this and recently gave them pancreas but they wouldn't touch it. Even when mixed with other food.
So far I've been unable to find anywhere that sells other organs for them to try (lung, brain etc). So liver and kidney is all they have. The liver choices vary between lamb, duck and chicken. And kidney is lamb only (They won't eat rabbit kidney).
Is this ok in the long term? Or should I persevere with trying to feed more variety?
As long as they are getting all the other needed items in their diet (heart, muscle meat, bone) that should be fine. I've been sticking with just pork kidney as the "other organ" for years and my ferrets are doing pretty well with it. As long as a variety of proteins are offered among the muscle, heart and bone-in meats, I think you're OK.

Thank you! This was extremely helpful. I only see am and pm times to feed, but my ferret gets hungry four hours later. Am I feeding him too little? Or is he a big eater?? I know he is hungry because he bites me hará, as soon as I feed him , he is tranquil again. Any suggestions??
Give your ferret enough food to last from one meal to the next. Weigh the portions (ie. with a postal/kitchen scale) to keep track of how much he eats on average. Some ferrets will overeat instead of let food go to waste though, so keeping a log of your ferret's weight is a good idea, so you can tell if the ferret is quickly gaining or losing weight.
leeandatsui the menu is based on adults. If you have a kit(four months or under) you can almost quadruple that amount
Also, as raynebc mentioned, make sure you are giving enough at one time to last through.
