I finally had a chance to go to the stores we have around town and found some good stuff! I got beef kidney, beef heart, chicken liver, chicken drums/wings/thighs and a turkey neck. This should go nicely with my other stuff. Now I understand the whole percentage of what they need (ie 75% muscle meat, 10% edible bone, 10% organ) but I am not sure how much my lil man should eat per feeding. I plan on feeding twice a day. He is about 4 months old.

Baby ferrets like sick ferrets get all the food their little hearts desire. Feeding him 2x a day will probably not work to begin with. He will actually set himself up as he gets older ciao

I cut up all the meat I had I to thump tip sized pieces and put them in baggies of about 1/4 cup. (I don't have my scale yet to weight it...) He is eating pieces already so I am going to try that but if he doesn't eat it I will blend some if up and make soup. It's just the intro to beef that may or may not go over. Do you think 1/4 cup twice a day will be enough? I can do more of course just trying to plan a bit.

I put my packages in 3 oz increments, but I make sure my baby always has food available.
