Its in store only so there is no way for me to get it. None of the petsmart around me sell the ferret nation anymore and I also can't go into a petsmart currently anyway(just recently got fired from one and people at the other two around me know me). I am also sick with the flu right now and tried to go out a little today and ended up making myself feel worse.

Another thing about the ones with high levels--you'll have to break it up with hammocks if you do get one of those. A fall from the top could cause injury to your ferret. I have the FN 142 (ferret nation) and I love it.

Can't afford a ferret nation double a single is the most I can afford I already said that and any wire would be covered with fleece which I already bought. Also the petco website is out of the ferret nation doubles and they won't have any until it will be to late for me to get one we are getting the ferret on the first.

From a cleaning standpoint, the FN is still easier. The doors open all the way, so you have accesss to the entire unit. The others look like you'd have to reach in and stretch around to clean them. The Prevue Hendryx Cocoa Frisky Ferret & Rabbit Cage also has open front doors but I think the FN would be a better deal and a better cage. The ramps in the Prevue Hendryx Black Feisty Ferret Cage cage looks a bit steep.I vote FN 100%!
Sorry, I didn't see any comment about the fleece.

The first one, I don't love because the shelves are so narrow and they can fall all the way from the top. Also, its a small access door. Ditto for the second one. Between the prevue and the ferret nation 181 that is one level, I'd def go for the FN. you have the ability to expand later with an add on and it has two doors on the front rather than just one on the prevue.

I don't think anyone can honestly recommend a cage that is less expensive than a ferret nation.
the ferret nation really is that good, and those others really are that bad.
I always look at those cages and say to myself how can they be charging so much money for those cheaply made/poorly designed cages.
If I was in your shoes I would build my own, however with moving at all the stuff that entails you would not have time.
I wish I had some helpful advice for you, but I could not in good conscience recommend any of those cages to anybody.
so my vote would be the FN 181 with a planned future addon

How many ferrets do you have again? Don't have one yet the same day we move on march 1st we are taking one male from someone that doesn't want him anymore he said he is giving us a cheap $50 cage so I wanted to get him something better. He won't let us wait any longer to take him. I also wouldn't want him to have him any longer anyway I am worried how he is being treated since they feed him cheap ferret kibble, obviously don't have him in a big enough cage, are ok with just giving him away, and probably don't let him out enough.

single story will be just fine for one ferret, in fact depending on the cage he gives you the FN could be twice the size.
