I'm going to have to update the photos as their Des started working the last week or so and they've now got beautiful coats (Lady "B" is quite yellow unfortunately, which doesn't bode well) but Jack has a gorgeous dark coat it's really quite amazing the change and they're both very active again. I like that ciao

Bwhahah. No, sweetie, he's a boy. It happens-don't worry. Some people really don't know the sex of their ferrets, which is sad because it means they certainly did not do their research. But you're doing yours, for sure! lol

My experience was the other way around... Trouble came to me as a "boy." I believe they'd been calling her Otis.

My vet told me about this woman who brought her female ferret in for a check-up and bragged the whole time about how she could always make her go to sleep by rubbing her belly button. My vet was so embarrassed to explain to the woman that ferrets don't have belly buttons and she in fact had a son ;D Oh my gosh, that is almost or as embarassing as the case I heard about the lady that went to the vet because her ferret ate a used condon. ígit!

And that one could have had some pretty tragic consequences!
