Heather - She's only about 18" now and will grow to be about 4'+ (up to 15lbs) when she's an adult. Bigger than that, even: Nice rufescens, though...congrats. I actually have 3 myself.

She's a fairly small girl but I'm hoping she'll hit a growth spurt soon.

OMG THAT IS SO SCARY! It's like having a real dinosaur in your house A bit, but they are sweet if raised well. I have three, and the big issues are food (they eat like teenagers at times), and space (each needs a minimum of 8' x 6').

Mine is too shy to eat in front of me. I wish she was a little more voracious like other tegus with their food. It'd make me feel better knowing she had a big appetite than having to leave the room and hoping she eats.

I hope so. She's getting a little better with handling. She doesn't struggle to get away much anymore.
