Booboo crossed the Bridge at 1:43 pm. He put up a good fight against cancer and insulinoma. He gradually lost his appetite and weight, but he was still in line for treats and NBones every day. He follows his older sister, Kahlua, who passed in August. Booboo was as laid back as they come. Except when he was younger, and Prissy kept picking on him. One day he snapped, gave her h*ll back and that was that. He never had another problem with any other ferrets. He was never really energetic, but he would shadow fight on his own from time to time. It was so cute to watch, but if you tried to join in he'd look at you like you had 3 noses. On very rare occasions he'd go after a cat fishing pole. He had the most adorable face, but he had a sort of serious look for a fuzz. I don't have a lot of pics of him, because he was one of those shadow ferrets like The Rocket. Dook in Peace, Boo. We'll miss you, but we won't miss your twice daily fight against your meds. It's sad that it got you to hating Ferretone. I'm sorry you had to go thru that, but we wouldn't have had you this long without. With big sis Kahlua, not long before she passed. In his prime, in southern Ontario

Thank you all. I'm praying we can now have another year without daily meds or watching another loved fuzzy slide downhill. Priss is now oldest at 6. Deaf and almost blind. Carol will be 5 this month. (Just had des implant) Alice will be 5 a couple days before Xmas, and seems to be perfectly healthy. No other health issues atm.

A travelling candle is lit for your wee one. The pain and fear is over, a new adventure begun, new and old friends to meet. Gentle journey little one, you are missed. ciao

Thank you all. Boo will be remembered more for what he wasn't than for what he was. He wasn't a biter, a fighter (except to defend himself) or an over-actor. I wanted to add these to pics of Booboo with big buddy Jaffa at the beach. The one of Boo walking away makes me cry. I think it's appropriate and so much better than they way he looked when he passed. Bye bye Boobooo. Daddy misses you.
