So I use a 1'' binder, and it holds all my things I use a pencil holder. I keep my sharpie for when I do meat, a red, orange, pink, green, & blue pen, and a pencil. This is the dates when they started eat soup, slivers, ect. This is there weight. Red is losing weight, green is gaining. This is the weekly menu, if you can't read it. It has red for organs, pink for bones, and green for muscle Then last, what they eat, & how much, morning & night.

This is fantastic! Do you mind if I post this as an example? (Or if you post it as it's own thread I will sticky it - either way). I wish everyone was this organized (heck, even I am not this organized, let's be honest here lol)! (rofl)You rock my socks - I love it. (dance)

So I uploaded the pictures. Pink, red, green, orange, blue & black pens. A pencil & a sharpie for doing meat. This is when they started the switch. Weekly menu, color coated. Pink is bone. Red is organs. & Green is muscle.
What they've ate this week. Morning & night.
This is there weights, I've wrote when I weighed them. Green is gaining weight, red is losing weight.
Thank you for you positive feed back, it took me a while to put everything together. You can go ahead and sticky the pictures, or if you just want to me to copy and paste it to another forum, just let me know (:

Will you post their current weights for me? I want to make sure they are gaining or staying the same still. Also, when you have a chance, please post another menu with the new amounts. Hope you guys had a good Thanksgiving!

How are their poops in general? How are their poops after the weekend of organs, heart, and gizzards? If they are too soft, you can space those meals out and put a bone-in meal in between them.

Organs are a little mushy but not to where they fall apart. Overall they are put together and a dark brown color.

Congratulations (dance) You've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone, now . You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. Remember that bone is a very necessary component of your little ones diet . Good luck, in a few days either Sherry or I will lock down this thread and place it in the archives but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly (wave) . ciao

Congrats! (dance) You, Snax, and Ditta have done wonderfully together! Please never hesitate to reach me via PM if ANY questions pop up. Also, when you are ready to introduce rabbit if you want to reopen this thread for a little extra help just let me know (shoot me a PM) and I will gladly work with you on that. It has been fun working with you and your wonderful ferrets. They are going to be so much healthier on their new diet; they are spoiled babies to have such a responsible, and caring ferrent.
