So I just prepped a ton of baggies with different ratios of pork to chicken till it's half and half. I noticed that I had accidentally bought calf liver instead of normal adult beef liver lol. Is that okay? Or should I go out and get adult beef liver. Next weekend I'll be going to the Asian market and seeing what they have for organs and whatnot.

Calf liver is just fine it's good to mix up the "type" of liver anyways. I would just not feed calf liver all the time, make sure you get some adult in there too and chicken or pork or whatever else you can find

They are doing great with the larger sized chunks. I'm making more soup tonight and I'll probably post some pictures with how the soup is looking and the sizes of the chunks this weekend

Perfect! Just keep doing what you are doing, and once they are eating those bigger ones for a few days, you can try increasing it a little more I look forward to the pics! If you could put a coin or a ruler or some other standard sized object in the picture so that I can accurately see what size they are that would be great. Thanks!

Totally this will also probably be the last batch with soup. I've been slowly reducing the amount and after last nights batch issues with making that little amount of soup Ill probably be good with leaving it out when I make more

Fantastic! That was going to be my next question. I'll give them a couple more days with this size of chunks and wait for your pics, but then I am thinking you could give bone a try again next week

I went to the Asian market and unfortunately they didn't have much. Mostly fish of the things I would think they could have was pork cheek pork tongue and beef tripe. Bright side was I got to stock up on pocky haha

Oh! There was also something called shabu shabu with lamb and beef but I'm not too sure what that is. And there were intestines but they were pre cooked :/

Hey sorry for the delay in responding. Crazy time of year for me!
That's too bad about the Asian market, oh well though, as long as you've got the liver and kidney that you can find, it's all good.
The size of your chunks is perfect! That's fantastic!
I think you should definitely try the bone again. The chicken wings, cut up into tiny pieces and smashed a little bit. Try feeding them just that for nth meals for a day. That way they can't really eat around it. Make sure there's still meat on the bone so they hopefully just start crunching down and don't really notice.
Sound good?

Perfect that sounds like a good plan to me! Are you still chopping up liver and kidney and heart in their bowls too?
How are they doing with the chunks of liver? Kidney? Heart?
What kind of liver/kidney/heart are you using right now? I remember some/all of it being beef at one point. Is that still the case?
I ask because you can definitely pick up some beef muscle meat as well and start giving that for some meals.
