This may not be the right place for this but this little guy Needs help fast. I just found a ferret on Craigslist with something really wrong with his neck. A cleaning lady found the fert in an apt that had been vacated and she can't care for him. I'm emailing the lady but I am still a couple of hours away from her. Does anyone know anyone be it a resue org or individual or a vets office that can provide care for this fert ASAP? The fert is in Fort Myers FL. The posting reads as follows: fortmyers.craigslist.org/lee/pet/4105399438.htmlAlso, does anyone have any idea what is wrong with the little ones neck?

Thank you Sherry! I've emailed the lady but I haven't heard back yet. I'm 2 hours away from her but I don't have any idea where she actually is or any other info other than the post.
How serious is this? Is there any info u can give me on it like how to care for it in a pinch so I can relay the info to the lady who has him?

Again, thank you Sherry!!! I received an email from the lady and she said someone contacted her and is suppose to pick up the ferret Saturday. I don't know if it is someone from the AFA or not but she did say she would let me know if they didn't show up. Do you know if it is them?

So I spoke to the lady again via email and she said someone came and got the little one Saturday morning, I asked how he was doing and she said he seemed to be doing fine.
@ Sherry - do you know if this was someone with the AFA? The lady never mentioned who it was that was actually picking up the boy.
Also, is this something that can be reported to the SPCA with the circumstances? Can they go in to the apt. Complex and find out who the owners were and prosecute them? Is their anything I can do in this matter?

I honestly don't know who got him. The person from the AFA got the same message from her, so I just hope he's gotten the assistance he needed. And I doubt the SPCA will be able do anything about it unfortunately, since she would have to be the one to make the complaint, and it could be as much as her job is worth.
