Those are silky's and I believe they are. It looks like there is less fat and more antioxidants in those probably beneficial as a part of raw rotation

Jellycat, I live in Calgary, AB! Originally from Vancouver.
I haven't seen beef heart but i will keep an eye out. I also havent checked out TNT yet but im asuming there will be lots of stuff i can get from there.
How many ounces should my boy be eating a day? I like to meal-prep his food the day i get groceries and freeze them all so i dont waste any food.

It's very dependent on the ferret, the season, the age and health and gender. For a boy...3 to 4 oz...some eat less some more. It's very much a trial and error thing. ciao

And then he gets chicken wing(s) for edible bone on top of that. 2 ounces per week for organs. Does anyone know if Superstore or TNT sells turkey or chicken necks ? or do people get that from a butcher? I want to thank this forum so much, I feel so confident when feeding my fuzzy now. He has so much energy at all times, his fur is starting to get so nice and thick and hes putting on some nice weight. He loves his raw diet.

I get my necks from either a local Co-op grocery store or a raw feeding pet store.

I get turkey necks at Save on Foods but they don't always have them. Also, you can often find chicken backs in Superstore and Save on Foods. We don't have that many food coops around here, but you do have a decent selection in Alberta. We do have a duck farm in my area and this is where I'll try asking for some necks and other goodness. You could do the same in your area. Just a matter of locating farms.

I msed them, I was told that just about all the ferrets right now were to be adopted if I didn't already have one because of social issues. I also asked about fostering but they said they're not sure they have any that even need fostering at this time.
