You are so welcome! You have been a wonderful student. With so much going on and you stuck with it! I also felt a bit of a let down because I missed coming on to post with Katt on my switching thread. although we always have this forum as well as fb. I still ask her questions regarding my own babies. hehehe I was sure that if you stuck to it he would come around. some are very stubborn and you have one of those little stinkers! It may have been a long road but you and your babies will benefit from that journey. I'm excited for you to see all the benefits of this rough road. They may not tell you, but they thank you for spending so much time and energy investing yourself into their well being. <3 I will also miss hearing from you and how they are doing. You can always feel free to pm me...you know that. I need to see updates every once in a while missy!

Oh yeah...back to business...how is the other meat going? Have you tried more ground up beef or lamb for them? YOu know how to get them to eat new proteins in chunk form now. If you want to move them from ground mince, just increase the sizes of the chunks until they will eat it.

Ok, I've read through the menu. Has lamb and beef been integrated into the menu? My concern is that Mika's and Alto's menu has only two proteins. Chicken...CGH is only a younger version of a chicken so I'm a little concerned about the menu being short on varied proteins. If you incorporated the two menus, adding duck (giving duck, quail and chicken) to both ferrets this would give 3 proteins and meet the necessary requirements. Even adding something like turkey if you want to keep everything as fowl would work. If the beef and lamb is now being eaten as part of the menu then please update the menu so I can see the required amount of proteins. As far as I can see this is the only issue. ciao

Thank you Heather!
Natasha, it seems to me that you started them on turkey. ARe you still feeding them turkey now? Also, are you still using the pork liver? Please try Mika on the duck and see if she will eat it again. Poor girl..doesn't know what she likes anymore.

I'm so glad! It was a long haul for him. Thanks you for the revised menu. I knew that they also ate other things...but they weren't in your first menu.

Thank you for the update (dance) Congratulations :goodjob: You've graduated and you're ready to walk this path alone, now . You have the foundation to help you feed your fuzzes in a more natural and healthy manner. Please remember that your learning never stops, and dietary needs change from ferret to ferret and throughout each their lives. I would like you to be aware that though you now have the capability and the knowledge to create your little ones diets you are never alone and that your mentor (you need only pm) is always available to you. The list is also a very good resource and you should always be aware that it's available to answer any questions you may have either about diet or care. Good luck, in a few days either Sherry or I will lock down this thread and place it in the archives but be aware that you can always look through it as a reference tool but you just will not be able to post to it. Your mentor will be in to congratulate you shortly . ciao

Congratulations Natasha! I'm so proud of you sticking to this process! (dance) I know that it's been a rough go of it for you but you can rest assured that you are doing the best you can for your babies! You know that all you have to do is pm me or email me any time if you have any questions or need any advice. Again, congratulations! So proud! Give Mika and Alto a big kiss for me!
