i just found punky like 10 minutes ago throwing up. it was pinkish, i'm guessing from the heart he eat.
i just got him yesterday, could it be due to the stress of a new home and a new diet?
i freaked out. OF COURSE I'D HAVE TO GET THE ONLY FERRET AND THEN HAVE HIM HAVE HEALTH ISSUES.
i think i'm definietly going to keep him away from the other babies, and in my room tonight, just to see if anything else happens.
i got him olive oil, because at first it sounded like hacking, as something caught in his throat. but then he threw up, so i gave him vaseline, just to cover all my bases.
INPUT PLEASES!!

He likely ate too fast is all Mine will do that as well when they really like something they have. That, and yes, the stress can do it as well. I'd not worry, just keep an eye on him that he's eating/pooping/playing, etc.

well that's the thing, the food was still there. he'd maybe eaten one heart or just a bit of it. i gave him some soup and he's eaten about half of it. gosh, i hate when they get the idea in their head to freak out their mommies. but we love them anyway.

I would just watch him closely - could he have gotten into anything? Rubber? Most likely he ate too fast

Look in the dictionary for ferret, and the definition is "heart attacks waiting to happen to ferrents" ;D

Sounds like he ate too fast. My dog does that when you give him raw beef. he gets so excited and he eats to fast. Then he eats his vomit afterward...
